revenue advertisers paid Google by:
- Applying and being accepted into the YouTubePartner Program (YPP).
- For advertisements placed BY GOOGLE LLC on YouTube channel content creator: (a) Content Watch Pages; or (b) in conjunction with the playback of Content within the YouTube Video Player.
Although certain royalties are earned income per Program Operations Manual

Act – Section 1612(a)(1)(D); Regulations, 20 CFR 416.1110(e), 20 CFR
416.1111(e). Certain Royalties that include compensation paid to the owner for
the use of property, usually copyrighted material or as part of a trade or business
or received by an individual in connection with any publication of their work
(e.g., publication of a manuscript, magazine article, or artwork). Royalty
payments are a percent of Google AdSence AdRevenue paid to YouTube Partner
Program members.
YouTube Partner Program compensation when it is not for the use of property, copyrighted material and is not earned or received as part of a trade or business or received in connection with any publication (e.g., publication of a manuscript, magazine article, or artwork) does not merit a Social Security Supplemental Security Income (SSI) overpayment determination given payments are a percent of Google’s AdSense Ad Revenue
